Your data
Legatum stores photos, videos, audio, documents, and stories that you upload for persona training and memory preservation. You control who can access each persona and workspace.
We use your account information (name, email, preferences) to operate the service, send essential notifications, and process subscriptions.
Customer content is stored on EU infrastructure (Hetzner, Germany/Finland). During the current launch phase, some AI features (chat, transcription, enrichment) may temporarily use non-EU inference providers behind our internal service layer. We are migrating platform AI processing to EU-hosted and self-hosted options as those capabilities reach production quality.
AI processing & subprocessors
AI personas are generated from material you provide. Inference for chat, voice transcription, and enrichment may use third-party AI services during the MVP launch phase. Those providers process only the payloads required for the feature you requested — not your full archive — and we do not sell personal content to AI vendors.
Our roadmap commits to EU-only platform processing at maturity, with provider-agnostic interfaces so subprocessors can be swapped without changing product features. We will update this policy and in-product disclosures when EU inference becomes the default.
AI personas & disclosure
Personas are AI-generated simulations built from available information — not the actual individual. Legatum never claims to recreate consciousness or bring someone back to life.
We do not fabricate memories as facts, impersonate living individuals without consent, or present legal or financial advice as coming from a persona.
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication, session security, and theme preferences. Analytics cookies, if enabled later, will be disclosed here with opt-out controls.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data through Get support. Family owners control legacy content and sharing permissions within their workspace.
